Wavefield Festival 2024

Presented by Holophon Audio Arts

Holophon Audio Arts will be launching their inaugural festival this year, WAVEFIELD! The first of its kind in Regina, we’re thrilled to promote this unique event to our members and beyond. Events include a DIY oscillator workshop with Holophon member Cam Wiest at the Saskatchewan Science Centre, a retrospective of the work of local filmmaker Eric Hill with a live soundtrack and a film screening of Decoder (1984) co-presented with Adjust Tracking at the RPL Film Theatre, performances by Jacob Audrey Taves (Edmonton, AB), Scant Intone (Saskatoon, SK), respectfulchild (Saskatoon,SK), and Jon Vaughn's Impossible Musics Ensemble (Saskatoon/Regina, SK), as well as local artists diatom, e.dulanowsky, Plains and dj sets by badcarlotta, Patty Blue, Guidewire, Mr. Jay, VC Vibes and DJ Dyke Boyfriend at the after parties! Support local experimental musicians and sound artists, learn about their fascinating practices and processes, and have fun while doing it!
